Large Group Ministry

The Large Group Ministry seeks to develop programs that encourage members and visitors to grow closer through fellowship and actions by organizing and sponsoring events that seek to involve everyone within the congregation and foster a sense of community. The short answer is potluck socials. We coordinate everything from lunches on the lawn and Lenten soup suppers to our annual Thanksgiving Supper. Some highlights from 2010 were a formal Mother-Daughter Tea for Mother’s Day, Dogs for Dads lunch on the lawn for Father’s Day, Oktoberfest
soup lunch, dedication of our BBQ/Smoker, and the Thanksgiving Supper.
