Theology on Tap
Theology on tap is a time for people to get together and engage in an informal discussion about matters that pertain to the faith. Relaxed and casual, this gathering attracts a variety of people: churched, unchurched, de-churched, seekers, those who seek a deeper understanding of what they already believe, and even those who are not sure exactly what they believe but enjoy hearing different points of view. The main point is to eat together, enjoy our favorite beverage and engage in topics of discussion.
Occasionally there is a theme or a special guest. Common topics include the Bible, Christianity, church history, other religions, Lutheranism, science and religion and so on. Sometimes we discuss topics unrelated to faith altogether, such as movies, television, music or current events. Everyone has the option to share or just listen while noshing on something good.
Theology on Tap meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month beginning at 7:30pm at Bambinelli’s Italian Restaurant in Lilburn (www.bambinellispizza.com). Just look for a gathering of people in the tables to your right as you enter the restaurant. Feel free to ask a server where “Theology on Tap” is, they know us well.
The next scheduled Theology on Tap:
- February 23, Thursday @ 7:30 pm.
